Rohmaterial Open CALL 2025

Call for submissions: “Rohmaterial” 2025

In 2025, Katapult is launching a new format called “Rohmaterial” to showcase early-stage circus or interdisciplinary shows. We’re looking for 2-3 shows (20-30 minutes each) for four dates in 2025. The show can be a work-in-progress or an excerpt, but we require a full-length video.

Shows with 1-3 performers can apply. Due to our limited budget, the salary will be 310€ net per person. After the show, we offer a guided feedback round with the audience and the chance to incorporate this feedback during rehearsal in our space free of charge during two days (á 5 hours) in the following week.

The call is open to all Berlin-based artists. BIPoC, queer and artists with disabilities are very welcome to apply.

We have two open calls for 2025 dates:

  • Deadline: 03.03.2025 for shows on 26.04. & 14.06.
  • Deadline: 30.06.2025 for shows in August and October.

You will receive a response one week after the deadline.

The Katapult team will select shows based on quality, discipline, number of artists, and overall atmosphere to create a diverse mix for each evening.

To apply:
Send an email to office@katapult.berlin with:

  • Dossier & short bio
  • Trailer of the show
  • Full-length video (please send us a link)
  • Tech rider
  • 2 promo photos (1 landscape, 1 profile + credits)
  • Please specify your preferred dates or if you’re available for both.
