Dear Berlin family, gather around!
We organize our fourth show night of a new format named “Rohmaterial”. The idea of this evening is to provide a stage to productions in an early stage. These shows are still fresh and are sensitive to audience reactions, to consider them in the creation process. Each evening we will welcome two shows. The artists pitch their projects during an open call and were selected as the best and most suitable productions for the “Rohmaterial” format.
This time we have two wonderful shows:
Losing my power by Sasha Parkhomchuk
A body and other objects by Ana Jordāo & Vincent Kollar
Losing my power by Sasha Parkhomchuk
Losing My Power is a touching and powerful solo performance that takes the audience on an emotional journey. Originally, Sasha created this piece as the final performance at circus school to process personal experiences with injuries and the challenges that came with them.

What remains when I can no longer move?
Who am I when I have no control over my body?
A queen steps onto the stage – powerful, untouchable, and seemingly unshakable. But soon, this facade begins to crumble, revealing her vulnerability. What follows is a journey through pain, despair, and transformation. Step by step, she learns to play with her pain, to accept it, and ultimately to transform it. Humor and lightness become her salvation. She
discovers the joy of play – with power, with vulnerability, and with herself. What begins as a
heavy, dark story unfolds into a celebration of strength and life.

A body and other objects by Ana Jordāo & Vincent Kollar
A BODY AND OTHER OBJECTS is an entrancing exploration of the human body as both matter and object. Exploring the spectrum between gravity and weightlessness, corporeality and objecthood, reality and illusion, the work challenges perceptions, encouraging viewers to marvel at the boundless new possibilities that emerge when we set aside preconceived notions of what a body is capable of. Through deep trust and intricate collaboration, Ana and Vincent invite viewers into an intimate and tender space where the mechanics of human connection are laid bare. The performance is an invitation to rediscover the magic of the everyday, celebrating the beauty of radical care, symbiosis, and the interconnectedness of all things, animate and inanimate alike.
