The 12th of September 2025, we will open the doors of Katapult for a special evening full of movement, creativity and encounters!
18:00-end CIRCUS flea market
Everyone can bring costumes, props and circus related things that search for a new owner. This is a Do-it-yourself flea market. Build up your stand on the floor or with Fritz Kola crades. The “stalls” can stay all evening. Let’s put them up in a way, so that half the space of Studio 1 is free for the handstand taster class. If you sell something, Katapult would appreciate a donation between 3€ to 5€ per stall.
19:00 – 20:00 Taster Classes
Start with an active warm-up: get handstand tips from Kerstin Oschabnig or try out your first tricks on the vertical silks with Petra Tobies – ideal for the curious and beginners!
20:30 AERIAL PERFORMANCE of the rope class students
Small final performance from our aerial rope course by Sarah Goody. If you are curious what you can learn in the rope choreo class, you can get inspired here. Come & cheer for the new starts of tomorrow.
20:45 Circus Jam
Afterwards, our Circus Jam begins – an open stage for artists, circus enthusiasts and anyone who wants to become one. Bring your own equipment and be part of an evening full of artistry, music and theatre lights.
For planning purposes: Please register by 7th September 2025 at events@katapult.berlin if you would like to actively participate in the taster class or the flea market. As audience members or jam participants/guest you can simply show up. Also if you miss this deadline, you can still simply show up and participant in the class and flea market, but for planning purposes you’d make our life easier, if you write us in advance. Thanks.
Spectators are very welcome – admission to the taster class & jam is on a donation basis.
