We would like to invite you to our first FLINTA* Partner Acrobatics Meeting at Katapult in Berlin. Join us for a full weekend of partner acrobatics in an uplifting and supportive environment.
What to expect from this FLINTA* meeting? It’s simply a meet-up and a weekend on which we can gather in a safe space to exchange, train and share techniques. There are no planned workshops. This means you can simply come to hang out with friends, or you could decide to give a workshop on a certain topic.
Training space:
Katapult has two Studios equipped full of puzzle mats and two longe systems available. The maximum amount of participants for this meeting are 45 people. If the group feels like it, we do have the option to turn Katapult into a theater, dance floor at night, or simply train until the early morning hours.
Level:
This meeting aims to bring together FLINTA* acrobats with previous experience in partner acrobatics. Please make sure to meet these prerequisites in one of the roles as flyer/mid/base.
Pre-reqs:
- comfortable in two-high
- 10 sec standing hand-to-hand
- experience with group acro (banquine, 3-highs, pyramids,..)
Food: The ticket for this meeting does not include food.
We will have the full space to ourselves: Small kitchen area to warm-up food, get drinks, hang out in the couch area. Katapult has two toilets (one of them is barrier-free) and a shower. Close by you will find a few shops.
Optional: If we reach a certain amount of food orders, we can organize one delicious vegan dinner for Saturday that will be cooked for us. We will send out a form two weeks before the event to ask for the interest in such a meal.
Sleeping: We highly recommend to organize sleeping outside of Katapult. Camping inside the hall might be optional in urgent cases. Please be aware that you need to put everything away in the morning, so that we can use the space for training.
