A weekend of object manipulation with Kathrin Wagner

This open-level workshop is for everyone who loves circular objects, i.e. rings and hula hoops. We’re exploring various alternatives to the “classic” throws known in juggling.
How about a kick up into your favourite hoop move? How about rolls that can easily be turned into a variation of the classic Bramson back rolls, or a new way to get into your most impressive site swap? This concept-based workshop will allow you to expand your personal skills, whilst integrating new ideas into anything you already do. If you’re a beginner, this workshop will teach you basic concepts which can be done with one object, but will accompany you in your circular object manipulation journey.

Minimum level: Three ring cascade / Prior experience with Hoop

About Kathrin:
Being both a ring juggler and hula hooper, I love finding new ways into and out of tricks that are out of the ordinary. I love balances, rolls and body throws as much as classic juggling and hoop tricks. Combining them in new ways and finding common denominators between ring juggling and hoop are fascinating to me.
I can’t wait to have a fun two days of exploring these concepts together and see you make them your own!
