Laura Jervidalo Ravn and Siri Lindskrog are both born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark. They met in Copenhagen in 2013 where they connected through a common passion for floorwork, experimentation and fusion of dance disciplines.

They founded Grounded View in 2014 and moved to New York in 2015 to continue elaborating on the company. Laura and Siri have attended education programs in both Copenhagen and New York and are trained in several disciplines such as House Dance, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Ballet, Capoeira, Yoga and more.

Grounded View draws knowledge from all of those disciplines as they tell their stories in a unique and abstract language. In 2018 they moved to Berlin.

We see Grounded View as a platform, for us and others, to explore and expand on our own capability, identity and creativity.
