Self-taught artist, Aragorn Boulanger has been inventing his physical technique and his own choreographic language since his beginnings. His highly diverse collaborations have
led him to an interest in questioning the limits of the possible through movement, and he has developed an expression that naturally reliates to illusion and magic. On the sidelines
of creation, he shares his work with several artists from the current scene, in dance, circus, or theater.
In learning this ‘dance’, we will be working mainly on the notion of circulation, in a body that
receives movement. Initially, the movement is constructed at the intersection of three dynamic principles: the curve (elasticity of the material in response to movement), the chain (logic of transmission in movement) and the circle (infinity and omnipresence of movement). These principles in action will raise fundamental questions for the dancer:
-How is balance achieved in the opposition of forces?
-How are events linked together, or how does movement trace its own path within us?
-How does movement, which is omnipresent, endlessly renew itself?
